Ocean Volleyball Club was started by Bill and Toney Reeves in 2005 as an affordable alternative to the limited amount of [boys'] volleyball clubs in Virginia Beach, VA. This Junior Olympics club was started to provide more practice time and experience for high school varsity players. 

Daniel Keros took over in 2010. He plans to maintain the original ideals of Bill and Toney, while continuing to develop and better the club in all aspects throughout the years.

The Philosophy of OVC is to promote volleyball skills in every player, as well as the ethics of the game. OVC is designed to be competitive while still maintaining a fun atmosphere of learning and good sportsmanship.
